Today is our only full sea day and we have lots planned.
First off, we head off for our scheduled time with Anna and Elsa. They have moved to Animator's Palate from the Walt Disney Theater since I saw them this summer. Jamie (my daughter) and I had purchased gifts for Anna and Elsa and Jamie sends hugs and kisses to her "friend" Anna. It was so fun to see the girls again. Frosen is playing on the screens in Animator's Palate while you are waiting in line (about a 10 minute wait) and the lighting in the restaurant is in the blue tones so it is very pretty. However, it is quite dark in there, so make sure you have a good flash on your camera.
Then we took a group photo and Scott mentioned that we all need to do the Jamie pose in honor of Jamie. (my daughter always does this little pose when she takes pictures, and Scott has always said "let's do the Jamie pose")
After our time with Anna and Elsa we headed off to the Disney Vacation Club Member Celebration. Got the usual gifts and Scott and Faith were both on the panel and received DVC Tote bags.
Faith and I headed over to Fathom's for the 11 a.m. Castaway Club Celebration. We needed to get there early to save seats for our group and Captain John said there were over 1,200 repeaters on board. That's alot! Faith and I took a selfie while we were waiting.
Mickey stopped by the celebration
Picture with me, Michael, Thomas (hotel director) and Faith:
Captain John thanking all of us for our loyalty to Disney Cruise Line!
Went to lunch at Lumiere's. Had Meatloaf (Karl Holt'z, Disney Cruise Line CEO's favorite dish for lunch there) and they had Key Lime Pie for dessert (my favorite!)
I brought Maroly some Twizzlers as a treat! We met up at Bingo. None of us one. But I was only 1 number away on three different games. I must be warming up for the real thing!
It was the Captain's Gala Reception tonight. Got a picture with Thomas (hotel manager) and Anthony (Port Excursions manager). Both are great guys!
Dinner in Animator's Palate. Our Head Server, Luis, put in an order for a special dish of Chicken Skewers for our table. They were delicious.
Did I say that the Chicken Skewers were delicious? They had chicken, english bacom, peppers, onions and were cooked in olive oil. I ended up eating those for my main dish and said to heck with the menu. Of course, I did have my butternut squash soup and my green salad with avocados.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that they brought us out plates of banana bread because they know we love it and we won't be eating in Carioca's tomorrow night because we have dinner reservations in Palo.
It was time for the show and Sorcerer Mickey made an appearance at the end of the show. I just love that mouse!
After we finished dinner we hurried off to Fathom's for the adult show with the magician we saw the night before. The place was packed and he did a terrific show.
It is now after midnight and we are docking in Antigua in the morning. We will be wandering around town. No excursion planned for tomorrow.
Goodnight from the Disney Magic!
